Onė Austėja Maldonytė is a practice-based researcher. Her main material is ceramics. During the working process, she carefully studies and follows the behaviour and nature of the clay and firings that leads to unexpected expressions, and final forms. The core of her practice is to continually reconstruct the body of work in dialogue with the site specific installations. Most recently she seeks connections between history and the present, fact and fiction.
